Hedgehog help - how you can help!

But not every hedgehog can make it alone: underweight young animals, injured animals or orphaned squirrels often need professional help.
A sad example: the Hedgehog Aid Herford-OWL e.V. took in „Miguel“ the hedgehog last weekend, the 1,000th animal in need of support. It's hard to imagine this number and the intensive care that so many protégés need...

Support local hedgehog / wildlife organisations!
These organisations mostly work on a voluntary basis - and run at the limit. The care they provide is time-consuming and cost-intensive: from medical care for injured wild animals to regular feeding of tiny young animals and safe release into the wild in spring.
And if you want to help: donations, food, volunteering time or simply sharing this post can make a huge difference!
