A successful day of activities transformed the Malzirkus into a place full of creativity, enjoyment and good cheer. Numerous visitors of all ages All age groups took advantage of the opportunity to do crafts together, exchange ideas and enjoy culinary delicacies.
We were particularly delighted to welcome Birgit Kuhley from Children's aid organisation Global-Care Foundation, who spent the day with us.
Under the guidance of art therapists Sarah Uessem and Silke Janzen, everyone busily cut, glued and created – from senior citizens' crafts to collages for the little ones to paper beads for children and adults. Everyone's eyes were shining and there were lots of lively conversations.
Refreshments were also provided: freshly prepared kumpir – Turkish-style oven-baked potatoes – were a big hit with our guests. „Simply delicious!“ was the verdict from many quarters.
The focus was primarily on one thing: togetherness. In a relaxed atmosphere, people laughed, chatted and enjoyed each other's company.
A big thank you to everyone involved, all the helpers – and, of course, our guests, who made this day so special!
