With lots of paste, autumnal napkins, leaves and discarded yoghurt pots, we got stuck in with some messy crafting. Then it was time to decorate with lots of glitter and add a string of fairy lights, and voilà: our beautiful autumn lights were ready. 
But it's not quite as easy as it sounds. The decoupage technique is quite challenging for our young children.
Separating the napkins, carefully sticking them on and then pasting them onto the glasses requires a little patience and dexterity. With a little help and some explanations, it went really well.
Afterwards, there was even time for a few rounds of our homemade memory game, which requires good memory and concentration.
While the glasses were drying, some of the children decided to paint and design a beautiful picture. And look at the wonderful and creative things they came up with! Great, isn't it? I think you did a great job, and I hope you enjoy your lantern glasses.“
