The secondary school pupils organised a charity exercise marathon with incredible perseverance, a great deal of physical effort and a strong sense of self-efficacy. The headmistress, Ms Boehlke, and the chairman of the Friends of the School Association, Dirk Hark, presented us with a donation cheque for our association's activities. We are delighted!
In addition to delicious coffee and cake, there were fantastic smoothies prepared by the students themselves as part of their health course. Numerous workshops were also offered, which the students ran independently, and all visitors were invited to actively participate.
I myself was in the history class „on the road“ and hiked along Gutenberg's paths in 1440 with two enthusiastic pupils. They explained everything to me with such enthusiasm – it was a really nice exchange about their school days.
The open day was very well attended, the atmosphere was totally harmonious, and you could really sense that Ms Boehlke puts her heart and soul into running a school with a genuinely welcoming character.
Thank you for this wonderful day!“
