The way the paper is folded not only influences the shape of the stars, but also the pattern that is created when light shines through them. When the first finished stars were held up to the window, everyone was amazed!
The repetitive folding has a calming effect and promotes concentration, fine motor skills and spatial thinking. But above all, it was a shared experience that brought people together: the participants were completely absorbed, time flew by, and in the end everyone was proud and happy to have created something so beautiful with their own hands. It was simply wonderful – we laughed, talked and were completely in the moment.“
