„In the painting circus, the children had the opportunity to design freely with iron-on beads. The many colourful beads were used to create dinosaurs, hedgehogs, smileys and much more. Various templates were available for inspiration, but many children also decided to realise their ideas straight from their heads. „Just do what you want - that's great,“ said one child.
Laying the small beads required patience and concentration, while at the same time offering plenty of room for experimentation. The children could work at their own pace, change shapes, choose new colours or start a motif from scratch. This resulted in very different and personalised works - sometimes funny, sometimes imaginative, sometimes very simple. It was particularly nice to see how the children came to rest while creating and at the same time developed their own ideas full of joy. The simple materials made it easy to get creative without pressure and to find expression in a playful way.“
