Small passenger on the return journey.
After the donations had been distributed, our Wladimir was able to take a very special passenger with him on his way back - little Sisi, who urgently needs medical help. He was already eagerly awaited at the Wolfsranch in Kranichfeld. Sisi then travelled on to Alexandra Keller, who is now providing her with a loving foster home.
Alexandra took care of the medical assessment and treatment with a great deal of calm, experience and heart. It became clear how difficult Sisi's start in life must have been: as a very young dog, she suffered a massive pelvic fracture, presumably in a car accident. This has grown together very crookedly, so that part of the pelvis now protrudes into the abdominal cavity. Fortunately, her ureter and intestines are still functional.
Her hip has also changed due to the deformity. The right hip bone is bent in a C-shape, the leg is shortened as a result and her gait is correspondingly uneven. The muscles in her right hind leg are also weaker. According to the vet's assessment, an operation is unfortunately not advisable, but she will soon be receiving physiotherapy support.
Despite everything, Sisi is a happy dog and we are delighted that she is now well looked after and no longer alone. We are very grateful for that.
We keep our fingers and paws crossed for the little fur heart and say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful cooperation of our valuable network - especially to Petra Zipp.
Together we can achieve so much more!
