„A table full of mosaic stones and many different wooden moulds were waiting for the children to be lovingly and individually designed.
First they tried things out and put them to the test, then, to the delight of some of the children, the hot glue gun was able to give its best again.
Picture frames, coasters, tyres and wooden crates were transformed and given a colourful makeover. It was particularly interesting to see how differently the children approached the creative brief. Some are purposeful and full of ideas, others are more hesitant and unsure. And this is precisely what makes the educational added value of our creative work with children: It promotes important key competences such as social and emotional maturity, problem-solving skills, etc.
And how proud they were of their creations! So proud, in fact, that they kept it hidden from their mum and wanted to surprise her with it later as a present. Wonderful! 
And because the children's urge to move was palpable after so much concentrated work, they were allowed to run around outside after a little refreshment and play a few rounds of memory at the end. A wonderful afternoon full of creativity, dialogue, games and fun.
