Our brunch in the café car was so much more than just a meal together - it became a wonderful example of how valuable encounters between generations are. 
From 9 months to over 90 years - this special age range once again made the day unique. While the youngest children curiously discovered their world, the older ones brought stories, life experience and a great deal of serenity. In between, there was exactly what community is all about: laughing, talking, listening, helping and enjoying together. 
Such moments are priceless:
For older people, it often means a valuable break from loneliness - they feel seen, heard and part of a community. At the same time, the younger ones learn empathy, patience and genuine togetherness along the way.
Particularly nice: fear of contact disappears, connections are made. A smile here, a conversation there - and suddenly everything feels a little closer. 
Our café trolley thus becomes a place of lively community that connects, strengthens and simply does you good.
