Children(T)RAUM
The children traumatised by the flood are still in an environment that constantly reminds them of the terrible events of the flood. We want to create children's spaces to make children's hearts shine again.
How you can help
The children wish for a little place to dream...
We are in contact with over 1000 children and their parents throughout the flood area through our activities. The main wish of the children we meet is always the same: "I want to play with my friends in a nice place and also celebrate my birthday."
The "ZuvAHRsicht" supply island in Bad Neuenahr - Ahrweiler is already an established supply island that is within walking distance. The school bus also runs directly in front of it, making it accessible to everyone.
Families and especially children are often there to treat themselves to toys, winter clothes and a slice of cake with their parents in peace and quiet.
We are always being asked whether we have a way of creating a place for the children to dream that gives the traumatised children some support and is also used for psychological help.

In our special children's (T)room - circus wagon, children can express their feelings and thoughts creatively in small groups.
Children in particular benefit from art education, as they find it particularly difficult to talk about feelings and events. With the help of specialised staff, we can help children and young people to work through their experiences and give children's souls "wings" again.
Group and individual therapies are offered and are available to all children and young people free of charge.

Words can hardly describe the situation on the ground - the animals are both physically and emotionally traumatised and some of their owners are unable to afford (veterinary) care due to the damage. Our support is vital for the survival of the fur*hearts in the flood area. This is only possible with your support.

Warm living room
Families with children and older people in particular cannot afford the electricity costs that electric heaters generate. In some households, there is also no electricity or the power utilisation due to construction dryers etc. is so high that the fuses regularly blow. Here we provide support with the indoor gas heaters with gas cylinders

We received another emergency on Saturday morning. A young lady reported that her 84-year-old mother lives in Swisttal and her heating was broken due to the flood. She herself lives 500 kilometres away and is therefore unable to help promptly.... During her holiday, she had already emptied the cellar and made all the preparations for the tradesmen. However, the appointment kept getting postponed. And now it's getting cold. Naturally, we took on this case immediately. Angels Kevin and Meikel, who live in Erftstadt, got into the car IMMEDIATELY and got another gas heater. Together with Alina, they then travelled to Swisttal. The lovely lady welcomed them with so much warmth and friendliness - it was twice as much fun to set up the gas heater. Thank you, people of the heart

Horses*Angels
The flood swept everything away.
The trauma runs deep, both for the horses and their owners. The clean-up work is almost complete and now we urgently need your support so that the horses can return home.
How you can help
Would you like to be a horse*angel?
You can donate 1m² of home to the horses so that they can return to their homes and have safe and dry hooves. You can donate 1m² of home directly here and be an angel for the horses.
Why aren't the horses home yet?
Everything has been swept away, including the ground reinforcement. To prevent the horses from sinking into the ground, a special ground reinforcement is needed that can withstand rain.
This is very important so that the horses have "dry hooves" and no longer come into contact with the contaminated soil. Otherwise this can lead to serious illnesses.
For this to be possible, a floor structure is required:

- Lava sand

The costs for the reconstruction are as follows:

Off*time
The stresses and strains of the last few weeks have taken their toll and the prospect of a break is not possible for many of those affected and helpers. Financial resources are completely exhausted due to the floods and so travelling is not possible for most of them.

An angel (Annabelle) called us and came with the wonderful opportunity for helpers and those affected to go on holiday to the Baltic Sea free of charge. Out of sheer joy at this generous support, we were quickly caught up in reality. Most of them cannot even afford a "free" holiday as they have no money for transport (car destroyed by the floods) or for their daily needs on site.

Yes, dear ones, 2021 is now rapidly drawing to a close... I can't even put into words how incredible this year has been. Many bad and many wonderful things have happened - together we have made the best out of every situation. If there's one thing we've learnt this year, it's that together we can really do anything! Thank you for your great achievements, thank you for giving us the honour of being so 1TP5Heart people to get to know people like you. We look forward to travelling together again in the new year to help you personally on site.

Review of the year - What we have achieved together ...
Dear ones, another moving year 2022 is coming to an end. 365 days filled with unforgettable moments, encounters and shared journeys... We are so grateful that TOGETHER we were able to achieve so much to help people and animals in need. In the flood area, we were able to make over 3,000 children*'s hearts light up again and help them with our #malcircus, #zuvAHRview #therapeutic riding and the 1TP5Wish tree Support action. This creates space and allows people to come to terms with their traumatic experiences and let positive things back into their lives. We were also able to be active in the area of reconstruction and help people rebuild their homes. Together with the Charlie team, we support those affected with their everyday needs 🫶 They are not forgotten or alone. We were also able to support Fell*Herzen with food and veterinary costs. The war in Ukraine made us all stick together even more and through our platform "warmes-Bett.de" and the Facebook group "Flüchtlingshilfe Ukraine" we were able to provide over 6000 shelters - especially for families with orphans, people with disabilities and pet owners - who had nowhere to stay. We were able to send over 380 tonnes of relief supplies for people and animals to Ukraine itself, as well as an ambulance and a military hospital near Kiev for support. We continue to support the maternity centre in Lutsk in particular. None of this would have been possible without the help of countless volunteers. Only TOGETHER could we make the unimaginable possible. THANK YOU, thank you, thank you. We were also able to inspire more people for our work free of charge at events such as Equitana. Mustang Makeover Germany also supported us with a sponsorship. A huge thank you to every single helper*angel out there. Every small or large contribution has made this all possible . In 2023 we would like to continue to go further together to continue to support people and animals. We look forward to every helping angel. Karen Sander - my great angel and my personal favourite person. She is my compass in so many stormy times. Karen has been with me since the very beginning and without her so many things would not have been possible, because when you have someone by your side who goes through thick and thin with you, it's easier to keep going and persevere. What I always admire about Karen is her green thumb, especially in her beautiful natural garden. She tends and cares for it carefully and with lots of love. Our totally animal-crazy angel is just as loving towards her fur and feather*hearts, the two dogs Fine and Steppke as well as the chickens called Flausch, Helga Hummel, Mrs Marple, Dusseline and Blondie and her pensioner horse Spotty. They all get to enjoy life to the full with Karen. She always has the greatest ideas - if there's something wrong and I call her, Karen has the solution in no time. And sometimes she even pulls a real miracle out of her sleeve. When in doubt, in the form of chocolate. Especially when it comes to difficult topics, she is such a valuable dialogue partner and gives many people support and confidence. I would also like to mention her wonderful son Tim: with his very special talent, he paints and designs our fantastic "WeAHRfamily" and "Ukraine" pictures with her. The two of them really are an absolute dream team! As you can already guess, Karen is a huge blessing, an important part and pillar of Fortuna, without whom it would not be possible to go this way.

Alina Stockhausen - our absolute multi-organisational angel with a huge heart for people and animals. I got to know Alina right at the beginning of the flood disaster, she was badly affected herself with the open stable in Erftstadt. Whenever I was there, I only saw her in her work clothes, always tackling things, helping everyone, as long as things were moving forward. She always showed the patience of an angel - especially with me... Alina often helped me to distribute the donations in kind and relief supplies - I often had to say: "I'm so sorry, I'll be late..." 8 p.m. quickly turned into midnight, but Alina always made arrangements to meet me. This helpfulness and "just making things happen together" characterise her so much. You can always rely on her and with her wonderful, calm manner she is a rock in the surf for so many. In terms of organisation, she is an absolute all-rounder with her structured way of working; so many threads come together with her: Whether it's appointments, planning, project organisation or everything to do with our campaigns, Alina has an overview, manages everything and always has an open ear for everyone.
It is impossible to imagine Fortuna Hilft without our super*angel, because she is a very, very important and integral part of us... It is a great joy and blessing that we have met dear Alina, who accompanies and supports us through ups and downs with her calm and gentle nature.

We build the "Home" of horses again and take over the Food & veterinary costs for ALL animals affected by the floods. That is why Klaudia Skodnik personally to the farms and people to hand in the items directly and help the local people and animals.
