It's as simple as that:

Send an SMS with the appropriate password to the speed dialling number 81190. You will immediately receive a Free confirmation SMS. That way you know that your help has been received.

You will be charged the selected amount in euros plus the standard SMS delivery costs of your mobile phone provider via your next mobile phone bill or your prepaid credit.
For every SMS, Fortuna hilft e.V. receives your chosen support (€2.00, €5.00 or €10.00 less €0.17).

How do I receive a donation receipt?

Donations to Fortuna hilft e.V. are tax-deductible in accordance with § 10 b para. 1 EStG. We will automatically send you a donation receipt for your donation in the first quarter of the following year at the latest. Donations up to 300 euros can be donated without a donation receipt. (donation receipt) at the tax office. A bank statement is sufficient for this purpose.

We would like to thank you for your generous support, which enables us to realise important projects and measures and help people in need. Your donation makes a significant difference and we are grateful for your commitment.

With a Amount under 300€ a donation receipt is not necessarily required. A bank statement is also sufficient as proof.

To issue the donation receipt, we need from an amount of 300 Euro your address. Please send them to us by e-mail to info@fortuna-hilft.de or enter it in the purpose of use. The donation receipt will then be sent by post to the address given.

If you are using our Donation form donate, you can indicate whether you would like to receive an automatic donation receipt.

How are the donations used?

We use your valuable support directly to provide help. You decide which project you would like to support. Here you can specify the purpose of use or send us an email at info@fortuna-hilft.de let us know. We also post regularly on Facebook and Instagram and in the newsletter about our work and show you how your great help was used.

A way to support and save

With your donation, you not only help FORTUNA HILFT E.V. to help people and animals, you can also save tax. Donations can be deducted from tax as a special expense and thus reduce your tax burden. Only donations for charitable purposes, donations to political parties and voter associations and donations to foundations are tax-deductible.

How do you deduct donations from tax?

To claim a donation from the tax office, you need a donation receipt. To make this possible, please enter your contact address in the reason for payment or email it to info@fortuna-hilft.de. Even though it is not mandatory to declare a donation on your tax return, it is worthwhile as donations reduce your tax burden.

What donation amount is tax-deductible?

Private individuals can deduct up to 20 per cent of their income from tax as a donation. You can use our FORTUNA HILFT E.V. tax calculator to work out how much tax you can save with your donation.

What is the simplified proof of donation?

For donations up to 300 euros, a simplified form of proof applies, for which a bank statement or a statement from online banking is sufficient. For higher donations, you will automatically receive a donation receipt.

Where do I declare donations on my tax return?

Donations are special expenses and are entered in the special expenses section of the tax return. FORTUNA HILFT E.V. is a non-profit organisation, donations to FORTUNA HILFT E.V. are entered in the special expenses section from line 5. Donations of up to 20 per cent of income can be claimed immediately, the remainder can be carried forward to the following year. Please obtain up-to-date information from the tax office or your tax advisor. These are only recommendations.
