We are on the ground at the borders and pick up the people who have fled.
The naked fear and despair is written all over their faces. 
Our Ukrainian contact reports how women, children and elderly people are taken from the fathers of families at the border, say goodbye and go back to war. The fear and despair, especially among the children, is unimaginable.
Thanks to the many helpers*Angels, we are already able to pick up families at the borders and bring them to safe accommodation. We also urgently need your support here to ensure that the journeys and initial supplies can continue.
To make this possible, we need your support for :

- for escaped pet owners (veterinary costs, pet food)

With heavy hearts and eyes full of tears, we mourn today for all the children, women and men who were the victims of war.
Robbed of their lives, their integrity, their happiness, their freedom, their home.
Mothers, fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers cry for their children, their relatives, their friends and neighbours.
On both sides.
Shutnyk in luck
Марина Нємцева is particularly fond of this fur*heart. Shutnyk came to her in the spring with a broken pelvis. After a while, the little fur heart was stable enough to operate on him - after that he lived in Maryna's clinic for the time being and was allowed to recover there. Everyone loved him - whether human or animal.
A new life for fur heart Chappa
The military took this little sunshine to the hospital and then to our vet Марина Нємцева. Everyone else had already given up on Chappa and wanted to euthanise her. But Maryna saw a chance that Chappa could live without pain, and although her disability would always be a part of her, she could regain her quality of life.
Giving joy and finding a home
This is Fortuna's Tears – one-eyed and seriously injured, our dear vet Marina Nemtseva took her in and cared for her. Once she was better, it was time to find her a new home – but she had no chance in Ukraine, so a home outside the country was sought and found with our angel Karen Sander.
Our review of an eventful 2022
Dear all, another moving year 2022 is drawing to a close. 365 days filled with unforgettable moments, encounters and shared journeys... We are so grateful that TOGETHER it was possible to achieve so much to help people and animals in need.
Food donations for fur hearts in Butscha
Thanks to the Bund gegen Mißbrauch der Tiere e. V. and Petra Zipp we were able to send a large donation of food to #Butscha so that the animals there have a chance to survive the #winter... Thank you for the opportunity to supply them.
Wonderful heartfelt visit from Ukraine
Our Christmas*angels - vet Марина Нємцева and Piotr from #Ukraine came to visit Karen Sander and we were able to spend a few hours together before the long journey to Kiev started again.
